Larry Clinton Blevins Sr., age 75, of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Saturday May 11, 2024 at his home. He was born in Smyth County, VA on March 8, 1949 to the late Charlie Clinton Blevins and Hazel Marie Anders Blevins. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother-in- law Stanley King Sr. and Darylene C. King, Granddaughter Remi Ward, Sister Charlina Harden, Sister-in-law Becky Blevins and Brother-in-law Randolph King. He was an Auctioneer, Farmer, Veteran of the United States Army, and a State Employee for 27 years.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Donna K. Blevins of Rural Retreat; Children L.C. Blevins Jr. of Galax, VA, Lockie Blevins and Fiancée Jerry Ward of Rural Retreat; Grandchildren Lacy Sullivan and Cory Quesenberry, and Donnie Sullivan and Fiancée Kaylee Carpenter; Brother Gale Blevins of Rural Retreat; Sisters Wanda and Ray Stowers of Rural Retreat, Connie and Charles Wright of King, NC; Brother-in-law Stanley King Jr and wife Wanda of Rural Retreat, Sister-in-law Dale King of Speedwell, VA, and Brother-in-law Doug Harden of Atkins, VA.

Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Bell and Reverend Tim King officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to services.
