Laura Lyall Bowers, age 58, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at her home. She was born June 4, 1962 in Maine and was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Lyall and brother, Chip Lyall.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Cecil Bowers; four children, Christy and Andrew Hester of Galax, VA, Misty Urbina and fiancé Cody Mann of Galax, Tiffany and Michael Hyatt of Cana, VA and James Bowers of Boonesville, NC; her father, Paul Lyall and brother, Jeff Lyall, both of West Virginia; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, special aunt  Newts; extended family, the Taylor family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Willis  and Mr. Jeff Lyall officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
