Lena Margaret Pickle, age 72 of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Monday, December 12, 2022. She was born in Tazewell, VA on June 20, 1950 the daughter of the late Fred Pennington and Ethel Keller Pennington. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert "Bob" Pickle; brothers, Edward C. Keller and William G. Hearl.
Surviving are her daughter and partner, Peggy Engle and Jerry Halsey of Marion, VA; grandchildren, Brandy Halsey, Melissa and Richard Edmonston; great- grandchildren, Jeff, Kelly, Riley, Lauren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, John and Sherry Pickle of Groseclose, VA, Linda and Roger Mitchell of Rural Retreat, VA, Sue Pickle of Speedwell, VA, Donald Pickle of Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Mike Sage officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
