Lillie Mae Jones Weiss passed on to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

She was born on May 19, 1938 to Charlie and Mary Armbrister Jones. She lived in Pulaski most of her life with her beloved husband, Jay who preceded her in death. Lillie was a hard worker and an especially kind hearted lady. She always had a smileand enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading, painting and art. She was a faithful Christian. Beside her parents and Husband. Was preceded in death by her sister, Geneva Jones Collier. Her Brother, Howard “Eugene” Jones and her Brother In Law, Edward E. “Gene” Stroupe.

Survivors include her sister. Helen Jones Stroupe, Wytheville. Brother in law, Manuel Collier, Roanoke. Nieces and Nephews, Tootie (Buddy) Gross, Marion. Edward Stroupe, Wytheville. Joan “Joannie” Stroupe, Wytheville. Regina “Gina” Alley, Wytheville. Amy (Scott) Morgan, Roanoke and Todd Collier, Roanoke. She is also survived by 7 great nieces and nephews. 1 great great nephew and several cousins and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the Barnett Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until service time Wednesday at Barnett Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Armbrister Family Cemetery.
