Linda Manuel Fariss, age 78, of Hillsville, VA passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025. She was born February 22, 1947 in Wythe County, daughter of the late John Manuel and Virginia Porter Manuel and was also preceded in death by her brother, Carson Manuel.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Fariss; her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Brooke Fariss of Hillsville; three grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Alana and Harry Joe Yates of Rural Retreat; her brother, Johnny Manuel of Max Meadows.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Barnett Funeral Home with the Reverend Zeb Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until service time.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 2nd at Rosewood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Rural Retreat.
