Linda Jo Kirby, age 70, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. She was born May 24, 1951 in Wythe County, daughter of the late John Daniel Kirby, Jr and Neta Shelton Kirby. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Anita "Butch" Kirby; special aunt, Katherine "Kat" Kirby Aker and several more aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Gary D. and Isabel Kirby; special niece, Jenna Hayes; special great niece, Katrina and Jamie Butler and family; aunt, Barbara Dean; uncles, Early Shelton, Lewis M. and Celia Shelton, Garland and Arlene Shelton. A host of cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Sanders Cemetery.
