Lois Riggle Jackson was born December 31, 1923 and left this world to be in the Arms of her Lord and Savior on December 13, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.

She was the daughter of the late Rankin and Lettie Clark Riggle. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Rush E. Jackson. Also preceding Mrs. Jackson's death were her two sisters, Della Marie Riggle and Iola Riggle Etter and one brother, Alvin Glenn Riggle.

Mrs. Jackson attended Fort Chiswell United Methodist Church, Mt. Vale Methodist Church and Zion Lutheran Church. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Eastern Star and the Fort Chiswell United Methodist Women. She was an avid bowler. She bowled in Pulaski and later at the Mountaineer Lanes in Bluefield. She is survived by her companion and friend, her "baby" Penny. Also surviving are her nephews and nieces, Joe Jackson, William Jackson, Lowell Jackson, Ralph Jackson, Mary Lee Morris and Jane Jackson; her long-time caregivers, Teresa Groseclose and Phyllis Rutherford; special friends, Sharon Arney and Karen Akers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating.

Interment will follow in West End Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the funeral home.
