Loranza Dow "Buster" Sayers, age 90, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Friday, June 13, 2025. He was born December 27, 1934 in Ivanhoe, son of the late Frank and Emma Manuel Sayers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Juanita Dunford Sayers; five sisters, Ovella Jones, Cecil Davis, Annie Akers, Kate White and Ruth Delp; four brothers, Sidney Sayers, James Sayers, William Sayers and Benjamin Sayers.

Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Sawyers and Jack Caudell; a son, Paul Christopher Sayers; four grandchildren, special granddaughter, Angela Sawyers and spouse Rae Chavarria, Kindra Armbrister, Samantha Sayers, Bradley Sawyers and wife Mary Sawyers; four great-grandchildren; caregivers and friends, Tony Blair and Lisa Romans.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 in Odd Fellows Cemetery with the Reverend Don Crockett officiating.
