Lorraine Valerie Asher Martin, age 83, of Wytheville, VA passed away Friday, February 6, 2026. She was born September 11, 1942 in Southampton, England, daughter of the late Kenneth Asher and Irene Turner Asher. She was also preceded in death by a son, David Edward MacAdams, Sr.

Survivors include two sons, Derek MacAdams and Philip MacAdams, both of Wytheville; two grandchildren, Sarah and David, Jr.; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marion Richmond (Fred) of Clinton, CT and June Angel (Bud) of Chino, CA. Several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends also survive.

Services will be private. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the family.
