Margaret Ann Jackson Barton, age 84, of Henrico, VA passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was born August 26, 1938 in Wythe County, Virginia, daughter of the late James Walter and Lucy Umberger Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Barton.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debbi and Donald Moore of Goochland, VA; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Vonda Barton of Wytheville, Eddie and Jenny Barton of Mechanicsville, VA; four grandchildren, Drew, Taylor, Jeremy and Grayson; five great-grandchildren, Lola, Carter, Peyton, Austin and Hudson; her sister, Hattie Duprey of Wake Forest, NC. Several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Barnett Funeral Home with the Reverend David Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time.

Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the Barton family.
