Margaret Callie Cook Jones, age 94, of Wytheville, VA passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024. She was born March 23, 1929 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Charles Dyre Cook and Gladys Wall Cook. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Chitwood Jones; her son, Michael Edsel Jones; three brothers, Charles "Popeye" Cook, Roger "Jitter Bug" Cook and Frank Cook; two sisters, Lois Williams and Carol Coleman.

Margaret was a member of West End Methodist Church and was an avid golfer.

Survivors include two sisters, Brenda "B.G." Berryman (Jim), Dorothy "Dot" Aker, all of Wytheville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at West End Cemetery with the Reverend Rick Lindamood and Reverend Natalie Drummond officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home of B.G. Berryman, 355-A West Spiller Street, Wytheville, VA at any time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to West End Methodist Church.
