Margaret Viars Williams, 87, of Roanoke VA, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024. Born October 28, 1936, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Edna Gravely Viars.

She loved to cook and to help others. She had a big heart; she enjoyed looking out for others and making sure others were fed. She was an avid bowler and softball player.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Jackson Williams, brothers and sisters, James Viars, Charlie Viars, Francis Lawson, Peggy Akers and Jerry Viars.

Survivors include five sons, Floyd Dennis Williams and wife Tammy of Good View VA, David Michael Williams and wife Paula of Troutville VA, Donald Lee Williams and wife Angie of Roanoke County VA, James Daniel Williams and wife Penny of Roanoke County VA, William Darrell Williams and wife Kim of Richmond VA; brother, Larry Viars and wife Kay of Max Meadows VA; sisters, Brenda Worrell and husband Skeeter of Ellison VA, Donna Worrell of Max Meadows VA; grandchildren, Jennifer Parker, Andrea Williams, Rebecca Williams, Billy Fosbre, Justin Williams, Leigh Martin, Hunter Williams, Madison Williams, Kyle Williams, MaKenna Williams; eight great-grandchildren,  Tristian Morris, Landon Parker, Kristy Hooser, Logan Parker, Jayce Martin, Jeremy Williams, Maddie Martin, Shaw Fosbre.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 25, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Reese Funeral Home in Austinville VA with Pastor Floyd Dennis Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Foster Falls Cemetery in Foster Falls, VA.
