Marjorie J. Blair, age 89, of Max Meadows, VA passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018.  She was born on November 6, 1928 in Wythe County, the daughter of the late Ralph and Maude Hudson Johnson.  Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Ewing M. "Pud" Blair and a brother, Paul H. Johnson.

She is survived by one daughter, Dianna B. Richardson and husband, Dick of Blacksburg, VA; two sons, David W. Blair and wife, Sage of Wytheville, VA, and Jeffery W. Blair of Max Meadows, VA;  one brother, Frank Johnson and wife, Ruby of Max Meadows, VA;  three grandchildren, Andrew Richardson, Mackenzie Blair, and Samuel Blair;  several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Fort Chiswell United Methodist Church with Rev. Laura Plaster and Rev. Bill Shupe officiating.  Interment will follow in the West End Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Barnett Funeral Home.  The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Agape Food Pantry or the Lead Mines Rescue Squad.
