Mark Douglas Harden, age 59, of Atkins, Va passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025.  He was born in Smyth County, Va on February 4, 1966 to Harold Douglas Harden and Charlina Gay Blevins Harden. He was preceded in death by his mother. Mark was a retired Corrections Officer with the Department of Corrections in Marion, Va.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years Diana L Harden; step-daughter Cyndi Day (Eddie); son Isac Harden; father Harold Douglas Harden; sister Crystal Jennings (Chris); nieces Madeline Jennings and Mabry Jennings.

Funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M. Monday, September 22, 2025 at Lindsey Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. prior to the service.  Inurnment will follow at a later date.
