Martha Lee "Bedwell" Simons, age 85 of Wytheville, VA passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026.  She was born in Rural Retreat, VA on December 20, 1940 the daughter of the late Wiley Raymond Bedwell and Ella Mae Rich.  Martha was preceded in death by her husbands, Hoover Pickle, Frank Simons; son, Allan Pickle; siblings, her twin sister, Mary Davis, sister, Elizabeth Phillippi and a brother, Dale Ringley.

She is survived by her children, Alice and R.J. Johnston of Wytheville, VA, Calvin and Susan Pickle of Rural Retreat, VA; granddaughter, Elizabeth Pickle; sister-in-law, Brenda Ringley of Sugar Grove, VA; family friend, Daphne Bowers of Rural Retreat, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday, March 2, 2026 at the Lindsey Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Farmer officiating.  Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12 noon prior to the service.
