Marvin Alexander Arnold Sr age 87 of the piney community passed away Monday May 15, 2023. He was born June 28, 1935 in Wythe County VA the son of the late Andrew R & Rhoda Dunford Arnold. Marvin was a devoted member of the Bakers Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church & was well known for his skills as a craftsman in building & remodeling houses locally. He was preceded in death by his sister Katherine Story & his brothers, Norman Arnold, Andrew Arnold, Claude Arnold, Duane Arnold & Martin Arnold

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening May 17, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bakers Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Funeral Service will be held Thursday May 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Bakers Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev Jim Tunnell officiating, burial will follow at the Mt Zion Cemetery.
