Mary Aker Billings, age 97, of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022. She was born August 9, 1925 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Lee and Bertha Bralley Aker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Justin Billings and daughter, Beverly Billings Lee.

Survivors include her son, Wayne Billings of Max Meadows, VA; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with the Reverend J.C. McPeak officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time.

Interment will follow in Mt. Zion UMC Cemetery.
