Mary Ann Dunlap, 75, of Wytheville VA, the Holston Road community, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2022.

Born July 12, 1947, in Ft Chiswell, VA, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Jones Goodwin.

She enjoyed going to church and visiting with family and friends. She loved to send cards; no holiday went by without her sending them out. She enjoyed family get togethers.  She loved to cook; she was famous for her Banana Pudding and potato salad. Mary was employed at Alco Controls for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Dunlap, two brothers William and Jimmie Goodwin.

Survivors include her two sons, Stephen Fisher and wife Sandy of Ivanhoe VA, Jerry Fisher and wife Michelle of Max Meadows VA, five grandchildren, Zachery Fisher and girlfriend Savannah, Jesse Fisher, Adam Fisher, Kristen Cox and husband Brent, David Wesley; one brother Dennis Goodwin and wife Minnie of Wytheville VA, one sister, Linda Flinchum and husband Bobby; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; close friends Diana, Sharon, Gerri, Brenda, Beth, Ginger and many other close friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted, Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at Barnett Funeral Home with Bobby Thomas and Billy Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Rural Retreat.

Family and Friends will serve as pall bearers. Friends may call Wednesday August 24, 2022, one hour prior to the service.
