Mary Ellen Hall, 90, of Wytheville VA, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024. Born January 10, 1934, in Bluefield WV, she was the daughter of the late Henry E. Spence Sr and Gracie Asbury Spence.

She was a member of the Wytheville Baptist Church where she was active until the last few years. She liked painting, puzzles, and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, John D. Hall; four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include one son David Hall and wife Sharon of Glen Allen VA; one daughter, Debra Hall of Salem VA; one sister, Frances Nash of Bluefield; grandchildren, Michael Hall and wife Becca, Mark Hall and wife Katherine, Kelli Taylor and husband Bobby; seven great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Irving officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Barnett Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wytheville Baptist Church.
