Mary Charlene Dalton Herron, age 86, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born December 8, 1937 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Charlie and Beatrice Campbell Dalton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Herron.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda and Dwayne Evans of Ivanhoe, Frankie "Teany" and Gary "Tuffy" Lawson of Wytheville, Tracie LaTurno of Wytheville; a son, Marty Herron of Olive Branch; two step-children, Vernon Herron and Randy Herron; half-siblings, Clifton Dalton and Denise Dalton. Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ivanhoe. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the Herron family.
