Mary Charlotte Patton, age 96, of Wytheville, VA passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was born May 24, 1926 in Comers Rock, VA, daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Cornett Bennington. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Warren Scott Patton.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Alice Patton of Wytheville; her daughter, Dr. Susan Walker of St. Louis, Missouri; grandson, Jeffrey Scott Patton II and great-grandson, Boone Patton, both of East Berlin, Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Rutherford officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time.

Burial will follow the service at Comers Rock Cemetery.
