Matthew Stokes Whorton, age 46, of Max Meadows, VA passed away December 20, 2024. He was born June 30, 1978 in Culpeper County, Virginia and was preceded in death by his father, Linum Whorton.
Survivors include his mother, Holly Stokes Whorton; a sister, Rebecca Knight; a brother, Joseph Allen Whorton; two nieces, Victoria Knight and Heather Foster and a nephew, Ben Knight.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Family Community Church in Culpeper, VA with Pastor Randy Albritton officiating.
Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the Whorton family.
