Maxine began attending St. Paul Church in 1937, when she was 5 years old. She was always a wonderful cook and baker. She dearly loved NASCAR racing and especially Dale Earnhart. She was an avid bowler and truly enjoyed those rowdy bowling trips. She was one of those lucky people that could do any type of sewing or needlework, but her special love and talent was quilting. Her family were lucky recipients of beautiful quilts each Christmas. A meal will follow the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St Paul Lutheran Church C/O Marion Haga 1050 Four Seasons Rd, Rural Retreat, VA, 24368
