Meda Mae Stanley Boothe, age 94, of Austinville, VA passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024. She was born March 14, 1930 in Lee County, VA, daughter of the late Thomas G. and Julia Collier Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Swanson Boothe, Sr. and a sister, Bettie Wollett.

Meda was a member of First Christian Church in Wytheville, VA.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Swanson Boothe Jr. and Sheila Boothe of Flemington, N.J; two sisters, Jane Elkins of Jonesville, VA and Judy Rasnic of Mechanicsville, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at West End Cemetery. with Pastor George Hamm officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Lead Mines Rescue Squad.
