Melinda A. King, 74, of Ivanhoe VA, passed away, Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Born November 15, 1949 in Carroll County VA, she was the daughter of the late Randolph Bowers and Bonnie Lee Hodge Bowers.

She loved her church and her family. She enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Jean Bowers.

Survivors include, her husband Paul King of the home, one son Jody and wife Rebecca of Ft Chiswell VA, special uncle Wayne Bowers and wife Juanita of Sylvatus VA, one grandson Coltin King of Ivanhoe VA, special friend Carolyn Lawson.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Ivanhoe Church of God of Prophecy. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Church.
