Michael "Red" Eugene Alley, age 59, of Austinville, VA passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. He was born January 15, 1958 in Pulaski, VA, the son of the late Swanson Eugene Alley and Hazel Bishop Alley and was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Reynolds Alley; paternal grandparents, Clara Dean Alley and Lee Vernon  Alley;  maternal grandparents, Mary Emma Viars Bishop and James Jordan Bishop. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Heather M. Alley and Danny Ray Hibbs, Jr.; grandchildren, Julia LeAnn Alley, Jennifer Lynn Alley and Josie Lauren Hibbs; special cousin, Tim Sayers; best friends, Rocky and Lessie Poole; good friend and neighbor, Elmer "Pappy" Edwards. A host of family and friends also survive. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Reese Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Reese Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
