Michael Randolph Riggins age 58 of Austinville VA passed away Monday February 27, 2017. He was born February 8, 1959 in Wytheville VA, the son of the late Malcom Harry & Alma Phillips Riggins. Michael attended the New Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy R Monroe, his brother Randall F Riggins and three nephews. He is survived by his fiancée, Betty H Bishop of Austinville VA; his adopted family, Brandon, Brayden and Makenzie Henley of Draper VA, Amanda Bishop of Christiansburg VA; his daughter, Amy Faith Riggins; sister, Denise R Hillenburg of Wytheville VA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Janet Phillips of Franklin VA, Bo Riggins of Austinville VA, Roy and Anita Riggins of Austinville VA, Terry Riggins of Austinville VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be held Thursday March 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Reese Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Cline officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Reese Funeral Home or at his residence at any time. The Reese Funeral Home in Austinville VA is serving the Riggins family.
