Michael Wayne Taylor, age 63 of Narrows, VA the Wolf Creek Community, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his home.  He was born in Bluefield, WV on January 5, 1954 the son of the late John H. Taylor and Stella Josephine Nelson Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Karen M. Taylor; daughter, Julie Taylor Reese and husband Karl Reese, Jr. of Peterstown, WV; grandson, Gabriel Reese; sister, Henrietta Stowers of Rocky Gap, VA; brother, Larry Taylor and wife Patty Taylor of Bastian, VA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, January 2, 2018 at the Bland Funeral Chapel followed by services to be held 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Charles Ray Bowling officiating.  Continuation of the funeral, a graveside committal service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Bland Cemetery with Karl Reese Sr. officiating.  The family requests that those who prefer may make memorials to the Bland County Rescue Squad.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Bland County Rescue Squad for the kindness and help extended to their family.
