Mildred Louise Gravley Dunford, age 85, of Wytheville, VA passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024. She was born January 30, 1939 in Wythe County, daughter of the late John Edgar and Mittie Crigger Gravley. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Wayne Dunford and four brothers.

Survivors include her husband, John Edward Dunford; son, Tim Dunford and wife Penny of Barren Springs; two daughters, Sandy Viars and husband Timmy and Robin McPeak, all of Max Meadows; two sisters, Til Alderman of Barren Springs and Joann Davis of Bassett, VA; a brother, James "Tooter" Gravley of Wytheville; seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Barnett Funeral Home with the Reverend Geary Jonas officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Max Meadows Church of God of Prophecy.
