Mildred Katherine Dunford

Mildred Katherine Kemp Dunford, age 90, of Pulaski, VA passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. She was born November 26, 1935 in Wythe County, daughter of the late James Henry Kemp and Ruth Gordon Kemp. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Dunford; two sons, Eveard Smith, Jr. and Murphy Smith; grandson, Derrek Harrison; great-grandson, David Wyatt, Jr.; two sisters, Ollie Kemp and Hazel Hyatt; four brothers, James Kemp, Marvin Kemp, Archie Kemp and Roger Kemp.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary Wyatt and Deborah Harrison, both of Pulaski; a step-daughter, Barbara and Michael Arnold of Hillsville, VA; two sons, Danny and Lisa Smith of Pulaski, Roy and Leslie Smith of Elizabethtown, KY; a step-son, Kenneth and Lori Dunford of Ivanhoe, VA; a sister, Ella Riddle of Pulaski; a brother, Robert Kemp of Illinois; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

There will be no services. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the Dunford family.
