Mildred "Millie" Porter Mabe, age 91, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025. She was born October 26, 1933 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Lonnie Ewing Porter and Mabel Aker Porter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. "Bubbie" Mabe; 2 sisters, Pauline Williams and Zelma "Ott" Porter; 5 brothers, Ewing, Pete, Ray, Bill and John Porter. Millie was a life-long faithful member of Bakers Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Peggy Stone of Greensboro, NC, Joyce and Charles Dickson of Fries, VA; 2 sisters-in-law, Claudine Porter and Alma Porter; her church family and very special close friends; several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2025 at Bakers Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Reverend Theron Phillips and Charles Dickson officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Bakers Chapel Women's Ministry in memory of Millie.
