Mirabella Jean "Bella" Michael Ward, age 12, of Bland Va. passed away December 22, 2025. She was born at New River Valley Medical Center in Virginia on October 2, 2013 to Christopher Ward and Christy Michael Ward.  She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Thurman Davis, uncle Jonathan Michael and aunt Anna Michael.

Surviving are her parents, Christopher Ward and Christy Michael Ward; a brother Hunter "Bubby" Ward of all of the home; maternal grandparents Jimmy & Christine Michael of Bland Va; paternal grandmother Terry Taylor of Wytheville Va; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of close friends; and special friends Emma Sue, Maisy Daisy, and Eternity Red.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bland County Elementary School Gym with Reverend Phillip Buttery officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 Noon until service time. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Johnny Quick, Joseph Quesenberry, William Rose, Landon Callahan, Braden Henderson and Miles Caviness. Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Michael, Ronan Pruett, Jonathan Buttery and Noah May.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bella's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
