Morris Warner Patton, age 85, of Rural Retreat, Va passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025. Born in Pulaski County, Va on August 23, 1940 to the late Edgar S. Patton and Lillie Mae Warden Patton. He was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl, Ed and Harry Patton.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Nancy K. Patton; children Sam Patton and Toni Testerman, James Patton, Richard and Stephanie Patton, Rebecca Patton; grandchildren Ryan and Brittany Patton, Brittany and Nick Green, Paul Patton, Josh Patton, Andrew and Samantha Patton, Ben and Jessica Patton; 10 great grandchildren; brothers Jimmy Patton, George Bunn, Jack Patton, Ray Patton, Rex Patton, Bobby Patton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Sharon Baptist Church, 219 Sharons Dr, Rural Retreat, VA 24368 with Pastor Jack Rutherford officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Patton Family Cemetery.
