Nancy A Keyes, age 80, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Senior Living in Maryville Tn. on Sunday September 7th 2025. Born on January 20, 1945 in Rural Retreat Va., Nancy was a homemaker with a creative spirit. Besides caring for her family, she owned a gift shop utilizing her talent for flower arranging and home decorating. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. While her husband decorated/coordinated the neighborhood for St. Jude donations she decorated Christmas trees and decor into every corner of their home. Absolutely beautiful!

Nancy was an active member/volunteer at her church food pantry for many years. Her heart belonged to her dogs who were her constant companions. She deeply loved visiting with her many nieces and nephews who will dearly miss her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Robert W Keyes, her parents Bess (nee: Lambert) and Charles Anderson, her sisters Carol Anderson Musser and Pansy Anderson Fulton, her dearest brother-in-law Michael Musser. Nancy is also preceded in death by nieces and nephews Robin Musser, sweet little Thomas Musser, Patricia Moody Hotchkiss and Kristopher Moody Hotchkiss.

Viewing and Services will be held at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Rural Retreat Va. at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 13th 2025. Burial will follow immediately after at Mountain View Cemetery.
