Nancy Lou Porter, age 66 of Rural Retreat, VA passed away, Tuesday, January 30, 2018.  She was born in Smyth County, Virginia to the late Jack Blaine Delp and Nora Virginia White Delp.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmie and Jackie Delp.

She is survived by her husband of almost 35 years, Benny Porter; an aunt, Louise Murray of Sterling, IL;  sister-in-law, Beverly Delp of Chilhowie, VA; uncles, Addly White of Ladson, SC, Charlie White and wife Elaine of Rock Falls, IL; niece, Brooke Delp of Norfolk, VA several special cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Lindsey Memorial Chapel with Rev. Doug Hyndrich officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
