Naomi May Long Gillispie age 92 of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022.  She was born in Baltimore, MD on January 6, 1930 the daughter of the late Charles Hadaway Carmine and Clara Miller Carmine.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gillispie; sisters, Gladys, Ruth, Helen and Margaret.

She is survived by her children, Dewey and Sherry Long of Rural Retreat, VA, LeRoy and Shirley Long of Tazewell, VA, David and Elizabeth Long of Bellingham, WA, Virginia and Donnie Chilcoat of Dundalk, MD; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Lindsey Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating.   Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service.
