Paul L. “Peewee” King, age 76, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Monday, May 25, 2026. He was born December 4, 1949 in Wythe County, son of the late William and Mary McRoberts King. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Melinda Bowers King, two sisters, Juanita Stanley and Peggy Burnett, four brothers, George King, Clinton King, Billy King and Roger King.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Rebecca King of Max Meadows; his grandchild, Coltin King of Ivanhoe; a sister and brother-in-law, Rowena and Freddie Lephew of Austinville; a brother, Doug King of Max Meadows; a special niece, Farris Stanley; special friends, Carolyn Lawson and Mark King. Several nieces, nephews and many extended family members and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Ivanhoe Church of God of Prophecy with David Holyfield as speaker. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the King family.
