Paul Anthony Potokar, age 46, of Bland, VA passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017. He was born June 8, 1971 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Budzick; paternal grandparents, Florence Kodar and Jacob Potokar; and father-in-law, Allen Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Julie Potokar; Father and mother, Jack and Barbara Potokar of Ohio; four daughters, Ashley Tolbert and Mack of Saltville, VA, Tiffani Potokar and fiancé John Murphy of Woodlawn, VA, Tambra DeAtley and Jesse of Hillsville, VA, Telisha Jowers of Florida; six grandchildren, Roselynn, Noah, Blake, AnnaBelle, Charlie and Mason; brother, Mark A. and Sue A. Potokar of Mentor, OH; mother-in-law, Laura Duncan; brothers-in-law, Brian and Melinda Duncan of Bastian, VA, Leslie and Amanda Duncan of Bland, VA, Ronald and Mary Duncan of Bland, VA; extended family and his beloved pets.

Memorial services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Bland Funeral Chapel with Pastor Paul Looney officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bland County Rescue Squad or the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
