Penny Elaine Hunter-Mines, age 55, of Wytheville, VA passed away Monday, January 29, 2018. She was born in Indiana, daughter of the late Robert Hacker and Gertrude Whitaker Hacker. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Mines of Wytheville; Two daughters, Jaime and Jason Trevino of Oklahoma, OK, Erica and Chris Joseph of Wytheville; Three sons, Steven and Erin Wilson of Wytheville, Dakota and Nicole Hunter of Piney, Kenneth and Amanda Mines of Max Meadows; Twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Davis Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday one hour before service time.
