Phyllis Peak Dean, age 67, of Wytheville, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Reathie Gravley Peak; her second parents, Rev. Harless & Virgie DeHart; sisters, Maggie Ryan, Frieda Hodge, Armeda Cressell and Betty Payne; and a brother, Kerney Peak.

She is Survived by Her Husband, Rev. Billy Dean, Wytheville, Daughters & Sons-In-Law, Teresa & Todd Gilman, Wytheville, and Janet & Mike Spencer, Fort Chiswell, three Sisters, Velma & Elroy Williams, Hillsville, and Darlene Dean and Joyce Dean, both of Pulaski; A Brother, Alfred & Helen Peak, Dublin/ Four grandchildren, 3 Step Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, with the Reverend Jerry Alley, Reverend Tony Hodge and Reverend Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in the Pickett Cemetery in Carroll County. Due to Covid-19, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
