Physcillia Juanita "Penny" Waller Hagee, age 77, of Wytheville, VA (the Mule Hell Community) passed away Friday, May 6, 2022. She was born November 16, 1944 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Walter James Waller and Retha Ellen Dunford Waller. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert D. "Shorty" Akers and second husband, Garland Hagee. Penny loved attending church, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Calvin Akers and wife Kay Davidson-Akers of Wytheville; Tony Akers and wife Lisa of Fort Chiswell, VA; a brother, Robert "Cricket" Waller of Wytheville; a sister, Lessa Wright and husband Dennis of Grahams Forge, VA; two grandchildren, Joshua and Hunter Akers; five great-grandchildren, Jalyn, Kaden, Izzy, Lilly and Beasley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Rosenbaum Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Joey Hollins officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church.
