Raymond Russell "Rusty" Umberger, Jr., age 47, of Wytheville, VA passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was born October 2, 1976 in Wythe County.

Survivors include his parents, Raymond Russell Umberger, Sr. and Connie B. Umberger; a daughter, Kendra Rosenbaum of Abingdon, VA; one grandchild and another on the way; a sister and brother-in-law, Tina and David Jarvis of Rural Retreat; two nephews, Cameron and Kaden Jarvis. Several aunts, uncles and special friends also survive.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Barnett Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Craig Caylor officiating.
