Rebecca Lynn Dean, age 62, of Hillsville, VA passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. She was born January 27, 1956 in Wytheville, daughter of the late Marvin Henry Dean and Luella Crowder Dean. Survivors include her husband, Donald Hall of Shorts Creek; two sons, Chris Cook of Patterson and Mike Stone of Galax; daughter, Deana and Hank Edwards of Hillsville; seven grandchildren, Adam, Lynn, Kimberly, Brandon, Todd, Doug and Kalista; six great-grandchildren, Caden, Kaylee, Natalie, Ty, Hayden and Annabeth; two sisters, Susan and Calvin Cole of Hillsville and Janet Eppright of Seattle, WA; four brothers, Jerry Dean of Austinville, Kenny and Roseanne Dean of Sheeptown, Robert Dean of Sheeptown, Kevin and P.J. Dean of Georgia; special family friend, Toni Beamer.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Reese Funeral Home with the Reverend Eugene Crockett and Reverend Andy Edmonds officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the Dean family.
