Reverend Robert Jackson Reynolds, age 93, of Hillsville, VA passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026. He was born November 29, 1932 in Carroll County, the son of the late Sebe and Gracie Bond Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Faye Shinault Reynolds and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Smythers Reynolds, of the home; three sons, Bobby and Trish Reynolds of Max Meadows, Danny Reynolds of Max Meadows and Mark Reynolds of Cleveland, TN; two step-daughters, Elisa Gagnon of Kansas and Chalon and Dave Moore of Florida; his sister, Eunice Gray of Suffolk, VA; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2026 at Poplar Camp Church of God of Prophecy with the Reverend Lonnie Frazier and Reverend Stacy Reed officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church.

Burial will follow in Bethany Community Church Cemetery.  Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, VA is serving the Reynolds family.
