Rex Lee Winesett, age 60, of Bland, VA. passed away Monday, January 27, 2025.

He was born June 5, 1964 in Washington, DC, son of the late Ira Randolph Winesett Sr. and Wilma Ramsey Winesett. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Linda Shewey.

Rex is survived by his son, Tanner Winesett of Bluefield, VA.; brother, Randy Winesett Jr. of Bland, VA.; two sisters, Rhonda Derenge and husband Bill of Charlotte, NC., Becky Holbrook of Bland, VA.; Special nephew, Carson Holbrook; several nieces and nephews, many extended family and close friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Bland Funeral Chapel with Dan Newberry officiating. The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.at the Bland Funeral Chapel in Bland VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Bland County Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 25, Bland, VA 24315.
