Richard Keith Dillow, 80, of Bland VA passed away, Thursday, January 09, 2025.
Born July 23, 1944 in Bland County he was the son of the late Miller B and Annabelle Harden Dillow.
He worked at the Bland Correctional Center the greatest part of his career. He was a graduate of Bland
High School and a graduate of Roanoke College. He followed the local Bland basketball team and was an
avid fan of Duke Basketball. He was a big supporter of Bland County Horse Shows. In his past time he
enjoyed farming and supervising all work projects.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one brother, Alvin Dillow.
Survivors include, three sons, Thomas Keith Dillow and wife Debra of Wytheville VA, Benjamin Dillow
and wife Kim of Ceres VA, Richard Bradley Dillow, and wife Mary of Bland VA, four grandchildren, Kristen
Dillow, Chase Dillow, Nina Dillow, and Asher Dillow.
Funeral Services will be conducted, Monday, January 13, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Bland Chapel with Eddie
Dillow officiating; The family will receive friends, Monday, January 13, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm
at the Bland Funeral Chapel in Bland VA. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2025 in the Morning Star Cemetery in Bland VA.
