Ricky Dale Scott, age 48 of Max Meadows, VA passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026. He was born May 15, 1978 in Wythe County, Virginia.

Survivors include his mother, Louise Wright of Max Meadows; his father, David Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Sharon Shupe of Wytheville and Regina Moore of Max Meadows; a brother, Michael Scott and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the family.
