Rita Mae Mabry Mahone, age 85, of Wytheville, Va went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 30, 2024. Born April 2, 1939 at 7 months gestation, she began her fight in life at an early age. She is preceded in death by her father, Buford Clyde Mabry, Sr. of Barren Springs and her mother Mary Ester Lovell Mabry of Barren Springs, Va.

She is survived by her best friend and loving Sister Mary Ruth Bruce of Chandler, Tx., Sister Evelyn Payne and Brother BC Mabry.
Son Kenneth and wife Cindy Dalton of Dugspur, Va. Daughter Barbara and husband Steve Thomas of Laurel Fork, Va. Son Jeff and wife Robyn Dalton of Bluefield, WV and Daughter Teri and husband Stacey Gray of Pulaski, Va. She raised her children early as young mechanics and avid Mopar fans.
She is loved by her grandchildren Nathan Skeeter of Winston Salem, NC, Dusty and wife Ashton Dalton of Galax, Va. Andrea DePauw of Milton, Fl. Van and wife Julia Haynes of Greensboro, NC. Amanda and husband Scott Quesenberry of Sylvatus, Va. Autumn and husband Jonathan Snider of Pulaski, Va. Sarah and husband Cody Gibbs of Pulaski, Va. Shanna and husband Dakota Witt of Bluefield, WV. Zac Harrison and Jakob Holstein of Bluefield, WV.
Rita also leaves behind ten great grandchildren, Alexis June, Blake Skeeter, Zachary Skeeter, Caden Dalton. Noah Dalton, Logan DePauw, Wyatt DePauw, Declan Lowe, Charlotte Snider, Aurora Gibbs and one great great granddaughter Paisley June.

Rita was a life long member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Wytheville, Va attending for more than forty years. She was loved and cherished by her family and church friends. She left a Godly impact on everyone she met and is now resting in the arms of the Lord.

Viewing will be at Fellowship Baptist Church in Wytheville, Va on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the services to follow at 7:00 pm.

Graveside service will be held at Foster Falls Cemetery in Foster Falls, Va at her family cemetery on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm where she will be laid to rest next to her father and mother. All services will be officiated by Pastor Andrew Davis of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Flowers are appreciated but in lieu of flowers, donations can be also be made to Granite Christian Academy in honor of Rita's legacy at Fellowship Baptist Church where Granite Christian Academy is located.
