Robert Gene Anderson, 90, of Max Meadows, Va. passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025. He was born in Virginia on June 23, 1934 to the late Rush and Mae Anderson.  He was preceded in death by daughter Marlene Sult and son Gary F. Anderson.

He served in the US Army.

He is survived by son Michael Anderson of Austinville, Va; daughter Candy Sue Rose and husband Billy of Wytheville, Va; grandchildren Kayla Anderson, Justin Anderson, Travis Anderson, Crystal Kuhn, Mary Sult, Dusty Rose and Rusty Rose; several great grandchildren; and a sister Betty Anderson.

Memorial service will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home with Pastor Darren Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Slemp Cemetery (Sugar Grove). The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
