Robert “Bobby” Albert Green IV, age 70, of Wytheville, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026. He was born January 1, 1956 in Wytheville, the son of the late Robert Albert Green III and Cora Lee Johnson Green.

Bobby was a veteran having served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Abby Shortt Green; daughter, Stacy Griffin; three grandchildren, Amiri Jenkins, Alene Jenkins and Ayira Jenkins; three brothers, Jim Green and wife Tonja, Allen Green and wife Rebecca and David Green.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Franklin Street United Methodist Church with the Reverend Harry Grubb officiating. Inurnment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel.
